Privacy policy

Ray is an internal work app for tracking administrative topics in a legal department. Nobody signs up on their own: the department's observer adds each person with a name and a role and sends an invitation link, with which the person adds an email and a password.

What we store

• Name, work email, role (employee, secretary, observer, director) and account status.
• Administrative data about topics: title, requesting entity, category, dates and deadlines, status, administrative notes, the study result and the activity log.
• Confidential evaluations of approved topics, visible only to the observer and the director.
• The password, stored hashed by the sign-in service and visible to no one; the device's push-notification token and the sign-in session on the device.

Ray stores no documents or legal content and collects no location, contacts or photos. No ads, no tracking, and no selling or sharing of data for marketing.

Who sees what

Employees see only their own topics; the secretary sees incoming titles and assignee names; the observer and the director see all of the department's topics. Evaluations stay confidential to the observer and the director.

Where data lives

On encrypted Supabase servers in the European Union (Frankfurt), over HTTPS. Notifications go through Expo to Apple Push Notification service; lock-screen text is generic and never shows a topic title.

App lock

When the Face ID lock is on, the check happens on your device; no biometric data reaches us.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the department uses Ray. The observer can switch any account off at once. To delete your account or data, contact your department's observer or email wesam.app.kw@gmail.com.
